Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at fcdl2024@outlook.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We do not charge our players to participate, as they are traveling around Jacksonville each week to play in matches and are supporting small businesses with their purchases on league nights. This is something that makes our league attractive and has allowed us to grow from four teams to fourteen teams in just a little over a year.

In order to maintain our league website, pay DartConnect league fees and purchase awards each season, we ask sponsor venues to contribute $75 per-team each season.

Like any other sport, the object of play is to win the game. FCDL prides itself on bringing folks together to promote locally owned businesses, enjoy our time & play the best darts we can. We have a wide range of skill levels throughout the league and will continue to promote new dart players, along with seasoned amateurs.

KEEP CALM AND DART ON is our motto.

  • FCDL is a "travel league", meaning each team has a home venue and will play against teams located at other venues
  • Teams play an even number of Home & Away matches
  • Tuesdays are match nights
  • Currently all venue locations are east of the St Johns River and south of Atlantic Ave
  • Goal is to have 2 seasons, Spring and Fall (Spring start mid-February, Fall start July)
  • Based on team/division count, 12 - 16 weeks per season
  • 4 - 8 players to a team

The goal of FCDL is to host 16 teams. Players may join existing teams if a player is needed or form their own team if FCDL has an open spot for the new team and/or a venue can support it, or the new team has a location to play out of that is east of the river and south of Atlantic Blvd. Suggest forming a new team with 5-7 players to accommodate for inevitable absences.

FCDL will continue to review match play for improvements & fair play.

Current match format contains 5 Sets with 13 total Legs and looks like this:

  • Set 1: 2 Legs of 301 DIDO Singles; 2 Legs of 301 SIDO
  • Set 2: 2 Legs of Cricket Doubles
  • Set 3: 2 Legs of 501 SIDO Doubles
  • Set 4: 4 Legs of Cricket Singles
  • Set 5: 1 Leg of 701 Quads

FCDL matches are scored using the DartConnect digital platform.

  • Easy scoring for beginners eliminates math errors
  • Scoring shortcuts speeds match play for veterans
  • Pre-configured division rosters & match formats
  • Eliminate paper match reports
